The transition from full-time employment to retirement ….it can be challenging for many people as it can involve a significant shift in lifestyle, routine, and social connections. One way that people cope with this transition is by joining peer-driven recreational clubs or organizations. These Clubs can provide a sense of community, purpose, and social connection, which can be especially helpful for those who are no longer working and may be feeling lost, isolated and lonely.
Probus is such a Club – What is Probus?
Probus is not a Service Club – it is an international organization that is non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian and volunteer based. In Canada there are over 250 Chapters with 35,000 members.
